Kristina Kauffman

President

This will be my third year serving as PTO President, but I previously served on the board as Secretary for 2 years. I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and attended the University of Minnesota here in the Twin Cities. My husband Larwin & I have 3 boys: Owen in 7th grade, Connor in 5th grade and Teddy in 2nd grade. I'm excited for more volunteer opportunities and parent involvement this year! In my free time I enjoy reading, playing cards, knitting blankets, traveling to our cabin in the summer & I'm an avid FRIENDS fan.

Liz Borkowski

Treasurer

Hi! My name is Liz Borkowski, and I am excited to serve as PTO Treasurer for a second year. Originally from New York state, I attended Boston University and University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in Speech Language Pathology. After college, I lived in Colorado for almost 20 years, where I met my husband and started my own business. My family moved to Minnesota three years ago. We have been enjoying all the rain and snow, spending time with neighbors, and exploring new community playgrounds ever since. My husband and I have 2 daughters- Violet in 5th grade and Hazel in 1st. This community has been so welcoming and wonderful. I hope to work hard to support the parents, teachers, and students of Chanhassen Elementary.

Vanessa Squiers

Secretary

This is my second year on the board as Secretary. I received my Elementary Education Degree from

St. Cloud State University in 2008 and currently work in the Financial Industry at Ameriprise Financial

as a Client Service Associate. My husband, Nick and I have two children; Jase is in 5th grade & Vivian is

in 2nd grade. In our free time (what's that?) we enjoy watching our kids play: hockey, football, baseball,

and softball, spending time at the family cabin, being on the water, fishing, going to the State Fair, and

enjoying life! I am so excited to be a part of this board - Chanhassen Elementary is a great place to be!

Vicky Peterson

Junior Secretary

This will be my first year on the board as the Junior Secretary. I have a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota and I am currently a Clinical Account Director for a local pharmacy benefit company specializing in Medicare. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time renovating and working on interior design projects in my home and other people's homes. I love transforming spaces into beautiful and functional areas by getting my hands dirty and using all kinds of power tools and equipment! I am a fitness and pop culture fanatic as well as the unofficial DJ for any function. Prior to getting my doctorate, I was a competitive and professional dancer, and you can see some of my sweet moves when I dress up as Starry! I drive a bandwagon for all Minnesota sports teams, but I am a huge Gopher Football and Vikings fan! Pictured above is my husband, Eric, and my son, Gavin (7).
