Liz Borkowski
President
Hi! My name is Liz Borkowski, and I am excited to serve as PTO President after being PTO Treasurer for two years. Originally from New York state, I attended Boston University and University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in Speech Language Pathology. After college, I lived in Colorado for almost 20 years, where I met my husband and started my own business. My family moved to Minnesota three years ago. We have been enjoying all the rain and snow, spending time with neighbors, and exploring new community playgrounds ever since. My husband and I have 2 daughters - Violet in 6th grade and Hazel in 2nd. This community has been so welcoming and wonderful. I hope to work hard to support the parents, teachers, and students of Chanhassen Elementary.

Danielle Baumann
Co-Vice President
Hello, Chanhassen Elementary families! My name is Danielle Baumann, and I am so excited to serve as your PTO Co-Vice President alongside Nadine Gregerson. I have a BS in Apparel Merchandising from South Dakota State University, I transitioned from my corporate career to become a homemaker following the birth of my son, Lawrence, who is entering second grade this year. I have been an active volunteer at Chanhassen Elementary over the last two years, and I look forward to partnering with our parents, teachers, and especially our amazing students to make this the best 2026-2027 school year!

Nadine Gregerson
Co-Vice President
Hello, my name is Nadine Gregerson, and I'm excited to join the PTO as co-vice president along with Danielle. I am a digital marketer by trade, currently in my eighth year as a freelance consultant helping small businesses with their digital advertising, website, and general marketing needs. I love to travel, craft, 3D print, play pickleball, and spend time with friends and family. My husband Matt and I were born and raised in Minnesota; we happily moved in Chanhassen in 2020 after a short stint in Eden Prairie, and love the Chanhassen community and school district! We have two children, Ethan is in 5th grade and Riley is in Kindergarten. I'm excited to get to know more families and the school better!

Susan Van Meter
Treasurer
Hi Chanhassen Families! I’m Susan Van Meter and I’m the new PTO treasurer. I’m new to the PTO team this year but am looking forward to the opportunity to learn and support all the families, teachers and students! I work at Thrivent Financial in investment management which brought us up to Minnesota. I have a BBA in finance and a minor in economics. I just finished up as the lead room parent for the past three years at our daycare Fraser School where our son still attends. We have two children with our eldest, a second grader at Chanhassen Elementary, and our youngest is still in preschool but will be starting at Chanhassen Elementary in the following year. I’m so excited to be part of this team!

Vicky Peterson
Secretary
I am excited to become Secretary after serving the PTO as Junior Secretary. I have a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota and I am currently a Clinical Account Director for a local pharmacy benefit company specializing in Medicare. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time renovating and working on interior design projects in my home and other people's homes. I love transforming spaces into beautiful and functional areas by getting my hands dirty and using all kinds of power tools and equipment! I am a fitness and pop culture fanatic as well as the unofficial DJ for any function. Prior to getting my doctorate, I was a competitive and professional dancer, and you can see some of my sweet moves when I dress up as Starry! I drive a bandwagon for all Minnesota sports teams, but I am a huge Gopher Football and Vikings fan! Pictured above is my husband, Eric, and my son, Gavin (8).
